Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Underarms.

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and aftercare. Regular waxing can extend intervals between sessions as hair becomes finer and sparser with time.

Yes. Repeated waxing pulls hair from the root, which gradually weakens follicles. Over months, many clients notice thinner, sparser regrowth and longer gaps between appointments, though results vary by genetics and hormone levels.

Some temporary redness or mild bumps are normal immediately after waxing. We use calming products and offer aftercare to minimise irritation and reduce ingrown hairs; proper exfoliation and moisturising can further prevent issues.

Ensure hair is at least 1/4 inch long, exfoliate gently a day before, avoid heavy deodorants or lotions, and let us know about medications or recent sun exposure to prevent sensitivity.

Avoid hot showers, heavy deodorants, intense exercise, or sun exposure for 24 hours. Apply soothing gel or fragrance-free moisturiser, exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours, and follow therapist advice to prevent irritation and ingrown hairs.

Yes in most cases. We perform a patch test for clients with sensitive skin or known allergies, tailor products to your needs, and recommend a gentle approach or alternative methods if waxing isn't suitable.
